Hi there!

I’m Rus[lan], a Research Software Engineer at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). This is where I develop tools for sustainability (you may want to take a look at my projects), and occasionally publish academic articles. I am also a member of the Nordic Research Software Engineers association - a community of those devoted to promoting best computational practices in research.

The main reason for building and maintaining this website is to publish my blog-like reflections on:

  • research disciplines that I work with and care about (sustainable energy and mobility);
  • tools for scientific computing, data management and software engineering used to advance these disciplines.

The blog (E-journal) is meant to present scientifically interesting and societally important content with an artistic touch, such that it inspires research ideas and suggests computational means to accomplish them.
